Kevin and Janet were super warm and made me feel right at home. Breakfast was a lekker feast, proper English style! Plus, the apartment was really comfy with everything I needed for a cozy stay.

Shower pressure could be better, a bit on the light side.

our self-catering apartment at the manor was spacious and relaxing, located right in the countryside. the beds were incredibly comfortable, making for a great night's sleep. the kind landlady provided us with plenty of basics, like tea and coffee, ensuring we had everything we needed. driving into town was quick and easy.

Cleanliness left much to be desired!!! Cobwebs and dust in the bathroom and cups, a buzzing TV meant limited enjoyment. Noise disturbances from the owners’ children made for sleepless nights!!!

I had a fantastic stay with plenty of nearby attractions, including the stunning All Saints Church which is just a short stroll at about 2 km away and the beautiful National Trust Beningbrough Hall located almost 4 km from my accommodation, making it perfect for my love of weekend city strolls and landmark discoveries. the breakfast was really nice with fresh ingredients, and I felt well taken care of by the friendly owners throughout my stay.

I enjoyed a comfy room with a clean en suite and loved having poached eggs for breakfast. The garden area was perfect for relaxing after a long day, and the outdoor seating was a nice touch. Just wish the Wi-Fi was a bit stronger, but overall, I had a lovely stay! 😊
